We answer these and other questions in our various offers in our PhoQS-Junior programme for young pupils. We organise programmes for individual interested pupils as well as for entire school classes.

 

Of­fers for school classes

Doc­tor­al can­did­ates back at school

Our doctoral candidates from the departments of Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics and Electrical Engineering come into the classroom and talk about their careers and everyday research.

PhoQS Lab Tours

Our research institute is home to a huge cleanroom complex and a large number of optics laboratories. The lab tours offer the opportunity to get to know this research environment, see researchers at work and experience research equipment in action.

Work­shops & Lec­tures

We develop workshops/lectures around the topic of photonic quantum systems from the perspectives of the four different disciplines of Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. The offers must be requested with a lead time of at least 2 months.

Of­fers for in­di­vidu­al pu­pils

Ju­gend forscht

Student teams that want to take part in Jugend forscht can organise their research in collaboration with PhoQS if the laboratory equipment and topics are suitable. Please send us an email to phoqs@upb.de with your research idea and how we can support you.

Tech­nic­al pa­per

Pupils who would like to write a subject paper on topics in physics, mathematics, computer science and Electrical Engineering with a focus on photonics are welcome to send us an email to phoqs@upb.de. Briefly describe your topic idea and what support you would like from us.

Som­mer­camp "Viel­falt stärken" | Labor­führungen im PhoQS

Derzeit findet das Sommercamp, das seit 2014 im Rahmen des Projektes "Vielfalt stärken" an der Universität Paderborn veranstaltet wird, statt.
