Open day at PhoQS

Quantum Systems - small particles for great things

Insights into the science of light at Paderborn University

On Sunday, August 28, the Institute for Photonic Quantum Systems (PhoQS) at Paderborn University will open its laboratories, clean rooms and lecture halls in buildings P7 and P8 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. As part of the 50th university anniversary, the PhoQS invites you to take an exclusive look at research in quantum technology. With their lectures, the employees take you into the extraordinary world of quantum physics, tell of famous cats, tiny brushes and surprising possibilities of mathematics. Admission is free, registration is not necessary. Further information on the program is available at: www.upb50.de/quantencomputer.
