Discover. Understand. Co-create. Outreach at the Institute for Photonic Quantum Systems

The Institute of Photonic Quantum Systems is an interdisciplinary centre for cutting-edge research at the interface of Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science. We aim to continuously push the boundaries of knowledge in the field of photonic quantum systems - and in doing so, inspire the next generation on their path into science.
With our outreach programme, we want to bring the fascinating world of photonic quantum systems closer to students, teachers and interested parties: from exploring revolutionary technologies to interactive insights into our daily research.
Our offerings include exciting workshops for students, tailor-made programmes for school internships and active participation in trade fairs. Our aim is to spark curiosity, encourage enthusiasm and share insights into ground-breaking work with cutting-edge technology.
Home game science - Dr. Christof Eigner

Dr Christof Eigner gave a lecture on quantum physics in his home town of Brilon in 2023 as part of the "Heimatspiel Wissenschaft" series.
A reporter accompanied him. The article was published in " Die Zeit".
