About Quantum Photonics Spotlight 2026 [QPS2026]
Quantum Photonics Spotlight 2026 unites international experts from various fields of quantum photonics ranging from fundamental quantum theory to photonic quantum applications. With exchange on modelling, system design and technology as well as on quantum information and simulation, Quantum Photonics Spotlight 2026 features highlights along the entire development chain of photonic quantum technologies.

Organizing Institution
The Institute for Photonic Quantum Systems (PhoQS) combines expertise and competencies in photonics and quantum research at Paderborn University – an important location for pioneering photonic quantum research. Travel in Paderborn
The conference will be held in the Congress centre of the Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum (HNF). The address is Fürstenallee 7, 33102 Paderborn.
By Public Transport
The bus line 9 connects the central station (bus stop "Hauptbahnhof") and the venue (Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum, bus stop "MuseumsForum"). It departs regularly and takes less than 10 minutes. Please note that Google Maps doesn't show correct information for public transport connections in Paderborn. We recommend to use information provided by the PaderSprinter or Deutsche Bahn.
By Car
The venue can also be easily reached by car. Conference participants can use the car park of the neighbouring Heinz Nixdorf Institute (Fürstenallee 11, 33102 Paderborn) free of charge.
Travel to Paderborn
By Plane
Paderborn has a local airport, Paderborn/Lippstadt Airport (PAD). The bus line S60 connects the airport and the central station (Paderborn Hauptbahnhof) about every 60 minutes from around 6am until 10pm; see this link for all airport connections. Other close airports with frequently operating train services to Paderborn are Duesseldorf Airport (DUS) and Hannover Airport (HAJ). From Germany's largest airport, Frankfurt Airport (FRA), you can reach Paderborn within less than 4 hours by train.
By Train
The central station Paderborn Hauptbahnhof is located in the city centre of Paderborn. From Düsseldorf or Hannover, Paderborn can be reached within about 2 hours. Please visit Deutsche Bahn for connections and tickets.
