Nina Lange shows Sum Frequency Generation | Video posting on Instagram and YouTube

In a very well comprehensible video, Nina Lange shows how laser light of a desired colour can be generated. Using the so-called process of sum frequency generation, light of a wavelength required for further experiments is generated in a non-linear waveguide.

The contribution was published on the social media channels of the Mesoscopic Quantum Optics group and can be accessed, for example, via this link on YouTube. On the YouTube channel as well as on the Instagram channel of the Bartley Group (registration required), you can also find other exciting contributions on current research work of the group.
