Scientific Writing - Virtual Workshops

Scientific texts are the central medium for researchers to communicate and document research results. In addition, writing longer, coherent texts is a central, professionally qualifying skill.

As part of the PhysWrite project funded by the Foundation for Innovation in University Teaching in the Freiraum 2022 sponsors programme, 8 virtual subject-specific workshops for doctoral candidates and postdocs in physics have been created.

Dr Michael Rüsing uses examples from his own writing practice to show how to approach a writing project, what you should pay attention to in the individual chapters and what you can do if you get stuck. In addition to the videos, this page also contains links to the papers used, so that the individual steps guided in the videos can be followed in the final product.
